Director Judy McGerald graduated from Hunter College with a BA in History and Literature and from NYU with a Masters in Special Education. She interned at Mahattan State Hospital, where she worked with schizophrenic adolescents. Judy has worked with Young Children in Head Start programs, independent schools, and at therapeutic preschool programs. She us a member of the Learning Styles Committee at Fieldston School. Judy was also a member of "Parent to Parent"; a support group for parents who have adopted children from foreign countries. She is Board Certified by the NY State Department of Education.
Andy Marcus joined Rocking Horse in 1983, bringing with him a strong arts curriculum. He graduated with a BFA from Philadelphia College of Arts and earned a MFA in Painting from the University of Pennsylvania.
